Just got this Stanley MR77C Swivel Head Riveter Stanley MR77C. Having used Stanley tools my whole life and have always been pleased. The last Stanley riveter I had was nothing but a piece of ever lasting junk.However after finding this swivel head unit on Amazon I again trusted Stanley for a quality tool and so far not disappointed.The last one had a constant jamming problem with the rivet nail becoming stuck in the jaws that pull the nail to pop the rivet.I tried the most difficult rivets I have, stainless and hard to pop. I tried the 3/8 T50 and they jammed in the feeder (and a bit of a pain to remove). We've gone through almost 1,000 of the 1/4 inch without a jam or a problem. Our original purchase didn't have the instructions attached so we also purchased Stanley 1/2 staples that according to the box would work in this model. They don't, too long. Removing pins, a center punch, and of course the good 'ol chisel. Old school basic tools but these are made from good steel and well marked.
